KynnefjällsNatur is perfect for families with children. The facility with rooms and cottages is far from busy roads. Our log cabins and our family room with 6 beds are particularly suitable for families with children. Enjoy nature here at Kynnefjäll and let the desire for discovery be awakened in you and the children by fishing, hiking, barbecuing and teaching the children more about the “allemansrätten”. Tips for families with children!

Here at KynnefjällsNatur there are a number of different activities suitable for families with children. For example, you can hike with the children around beautiful Kynnefjäll. Take a break at a wind shelter and maybe a dip in a pond. Go on a discovery trip with the children in the forest and learn more about Allemansrätten. If you have your own fishing equipment – try your luck fishing in a cozy mountain pond located about 2 kilometers from the facility. There is also a barbecue area on site.Take a day trip to one of our nearby exciting excursion destinations or to the coast for salty swimming.

The cottage or the multi-bedroom is suitable for families with children

Our log cabins are secluded and are an excellent size for families with children. So does the family multi-bedroom “Loftet”. ATTENTION! Check the room descriptions and pictures before you book. The cabins are designed a little differently and there are e.g. stairs in the lodgings, so a baby gate or similar may be good to bring with you for some.

Day trips in the local area

Here you will get tips on exciting destinations that are almost a must if you visit this part of Sweden. Destinations such as Havets Hus, Stella’s playland, Nordens Ark, Vitlycke museum and Tanum’s world heritage which usually have activities for children throughout the summer, such as archeology school and Bronze Age activities.

Hike with children

Hiking with children doesn’t have to be complicated. You can live comfortably in a room or cabin at KynnefjällsNatur or sleep in one of the wind shelters at Kynnefjäll. Along Bohusleden and up on Kynnefjäll there are several shelters and an overnight cabin with 12 beds at Vaktarekullen. The cottage cannot be pre-booked. You can also hike around the forest roads at KynnefjällsNatur or use one of our trails. Two of them start and end at KynnefjällsNatur. The trails are approximately 5 km and 14 km.
