Celebrate a dog-friendly New Year at Kynnefjäll

Far from the noise and chaos of the big cities lies the beautiful and peaceful Kynnefjäll. Several dog owners have a tradition of gathering at Kynnefjäll precisely on New Year’s Eve, for the sake of their four-legged friends.

We are happy to invite more people to our tradition when we meet, socialize and grill together in the middle of the day and go on a classic tip walk as a conclusion.Towards evening, we gather indoors in the heat together with the dogs and eat New Year’s dinner and melt New Year’s bricks, before it is time for the toast at twelve o’clock. Melting tin is an old tradition to usher in the new year.

In the New Year, we adapt all activities at KynnefjällsNatur to you and your dog. Feel free to bring your dogs to the New Year’s dinner, or bring your food up to the room if you prefer.

Barbecue buffet – grill together outdoors
Arrive at Kynnefjäll no later than 2 p.m. and barbecue outdoors together with dogs, rugs and houses. We have prepared a lovely barbecue buffet in the restaurant for you to grill yourself. The barbecue buffet is laid out in the restaurant and the grill is lit between 14-15. In fine weather, it is also possible to eat outside, otherwise you take the ready-grilled food and your dogs into the restaurant and eat there.
