Kynnefj\u00e4ll ist f\u00fcr seinen langj\u00e4hrigen lokalen Widerstand gegen die Entsorgung von Atomm\u00fcll bekannt. Der Berg wurde in den 1980er und 1990er Jahren rund 20 Jahre lang rund um die Uhr von der Aktionsgruppe Save Kynnefj\u00e4ll aus einer kleinen H\u00fctte bewacht. Laut Guinness-Buch der Rekorde handelt es sich um die zeitlich l\u00e4ngste Protestaktion der Welt. Jahrhundert hinein genutzt wurden. Er liegt nord\u00f6stlich von Vaktarekullen und ist ein wichtiger Verbindungspunkt f\u00fcr Wanderungen auf dem Bohusleden und anderen Wanderwegen auf Kynnefj\u00e4ll. Von der gr\u00f6\u00dferen Stra\u00dfe bei S\u00f6bb\u00f6n (n\u00f6rdlich von Hedekas) f\u00fchrt eine Schotterstra\u00dfe hierher. Sie finden \u00c4lgafallet kurz nachdem Sie die Landesgrenze nach Norwegen \u00fcberquert haben. Gehen Sie unbedingt auf die Br\u00fccke, die den Wasserfall \u00fcberspannt.
